WHAT IS A CHEMICAL PEEL?
A chemical peel is a non-surgical procedure that significantly enhances your facial appearance. THERE ARE 3 TYPES:
Superficial or Light (£30)

The solution used for these light chemical peels typically includes an enzyme, often derived from flower extracts, and it may only lead to slight flaking with repetitive treatments and continued use of the product.

Deep (£40-50)
A Deep acid treatment, commonly referred to as a TCA, penetrates through the epidermis to the uppermost layer of the dermis, specifically the papillary dermis. There will be a downtime at this level because the skin will experience significant peeling in large areas, resulting in a brown and crusty appearance for a few days. The new layer of skin will begin to emerge 3-7 days after treatment, similar to the outcomes seen with other chemical peel treatments like Glycolic acid peels and Jessner peels.
NB: Deeper chemical peels than this are only performed by plastic and cosmetic surgeons under general anesthesia.
